More than 20 lakh students from across the globe participate in the F1 in Schools Program. Upon course completion, you are eligible to participate in the F1 in Schools India Competition and have a roadmap to represent India in the F1 in Schools World Finals. Join the F1 in Schools India program and work your way to meet the world famous Formula One Teams, Drivers and interact with them during the Formula One Grand Prix at an International Venue.
F1 in Schools™ is the World’s Largest STEM Challenge where school students aged between 9-19 years design miniature Formula1 cars using CAD/CAM tools followed by manufacturing their designs on a CNC machine. The students also develop various life skills like project management, soft skills, problem solving and critical thinking. The program inspires students to use IT to learn about physics, aerodynamics, design, manufacture, branding, graphics, sponsorship, marketing, leadership/teamwork, media skills and financial strategy, and apply them in a practical, imaginative, competitive and exciting way.
Spanning age ranges of 9 to 19 our main objective is to help change the perceptions of science, technology, engineering and math by creating a fun and exciting learning environment for young people to develop an informed view about careers in engineering, Formula 1, science, marketing and technology.
There are many success stories who have actually come through our initiative and have gone on to achieve significant outcomes in their lives including positions in Formula 1 teams.
Competition Structure
All participants who complete the F1 in Schools India program have a chance to enter the F1 in Schools India Regional Competition. Participants shall make a team of minimum 3 members and maximum 6 members to be eligible to participate in the competition. Top teams from the F1 in Schools India Regional Competition Qualify to participate in the F1 in Schools India National Competition. The top 3 teams from the National Competition shall represent the country in the F1 in Schools World Finals which happens at an International Venue.
